Magnet Field Generators (MFGs) provide precise zones – danger and warning – around the moving equipment using patented, pulsed low frequency magnet field markers. These markers penetrate most structures (including stacks of material and earth) and are unaffected by environmental factors such as fog and dust.
Personal Alarm Devices (PADs) warn by personnel or collision avoidance modules built into the MFGs detect the magnetic field. PADs alert the wearer and alert the equipment operator. Alerts are both audible and visual. MFGs can provide relay outputs to interlock with the equipment.
Additional site solutions are available, including structure monitors for object/structure detection. Also, data acquisition is built-in to the MFG. With the addition of a site relay all proximity events, travel data between marked points, among other info is available via a dashboard view.

The Safedist® System is designed to assist the operator. It depends upon RF and magnetic signals and could under certain conditions fail to detect and unsafe proximity condition and/or could generate a false alarm when not in danger.
